women’s self defence
We’re entering a new chapter in our Women’s Self-Defence program at Training Grounds, and it’s a big one …..
This next evolution shifts the focus away from memorising complex techniques and towards what actually matters in real life: recognising early warning signs, trusting intuition, using your voice, moving to safety, and making confident decisions under pressure.
Most assaults don’t start violently, they start socially, so we’re redesigning
our training to reflect that.
Through scenario-based, game-led sessions, we’ll explore boundary setting, exit awareness, breaking brief contact, and recovering from hesitation, because freeze is normal, and recovery is trainable.
This program is about options, agency and acting earlier, not fighting harder.
More details coming soon, and we’re so proud of where this is heading.
