KIDS ACADEMY - Training Grounds

Programs for Kids from 4yrs +

Our Training Grounds Kids Academy is first and foremost about kids having fun and feeling part of a group whilst learning new skills. Martial arts is great for fitness, confidence and developing self-defence skills. It also improves children’s sense of respect, focus and discipline. When they join the Training Grounds Martial Arts Academy, kids learn about the importance of team work, improve their listening and social skills, and get a sense of achievement. They are surrounded by positive role models and of course they make lots of new friends along the way.

Training Grounds offer Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (4 years +) and Muay Thai (6 years +). Our classes are run by experienced instructors and fathers, with the emphasis on child development. We have a high ratio of instructors to children to facilitate this learning environment. View our Timetable for class details.

My children and I have been learning BJJ and Muay Thai at Training Grounds and it bends our bat! Their dedication to the classes is exceptional. The coaches teach generously and openly while encouraging each child’s individual quirk and abilities. It’s not a ‘one size fits all’ kind of place and to drive this quality of engagement is an asset. It makes us strive to be better versions of ourselves. So, whether you are looking for a hobby that challenges you, that will improve your strength and agility, teach you new ways of thinking, that will have you burning calories with your kids, Training Grounds is a fine and friendly place to do it. They will help you find your passion, the groove to your tongue. The bend to your bat.
